New install windows 7

I'm installing windows 7 and after copies the files and restart the screen gets stuck at post saying press any key to boot to disc and can't get out I have tried three hard drive could this Be my motherboard. controller or the boot disc?

sounds like the iso disk image. it should ask for oem key and reboot and then install itself. make sure in the bios usb stick is set as first boot device and not the hard drive. use windows iso to usb tool see if thta helps.

It sounds like it can't see the disk, which is typical of a system that needs drivers(like raid) for Windows to see the disk, There is an option during the install to install additional drivers.

Yea same result. I put the disc in and it copies abs expanding and install feature and all that. But once it restart it get stuck at the black post screen saying press any keys to boot to disc

Might have gotten it to work. Seem the problem was that the partition had to be deleted fully usually I just write over it but I guess windows 7 change that
