I compiled a pcpartpicker list for a New Intel Budget Gaming Build that is not a one-time build (it is for future upgrades). The maximum budget is $1,400.

The primary use is for FPS shooters.

A low profile keyboard is a requirement. RGB for keyboard is not necessary but would be nice to have.

9600k has stutter issues. Also, its on a dead end socket so your upgrade options are somewhat limited.
The Hyper 212 isn't great. Probably enough for a mild oc, but not ideal. The only time a 9600k makes sense is overclocked to the moon.
Z390 a pro is basically the same. Probably enough for an oc, but not a good board.
SSD is overpriced.
You don't need that fancy of a PSU for this system, even if you want to upgrade in the future.
Monitor is very overpriced. Costs double what it should just since its curved. If you want a competitive experience, go 144hz anyhow.
 
Get a 6 Cores 12 Threads CPU minimum. Change that Corsair RM PSU for a RMx. Get a Noctua CPU air cooler. You can buy a cheaper SSD that would do the same job. That GTX 1660 Super is a good 1080p card that has been sold a lot. Price / Performance it's a good card.
