I am not sure, but is this a new issue?

Within Outlook 2002, when I try to click on the "Options" for Messenger, it
tells me I need at least version.. blah blah blah, then tries to throw me to
a non working site for download.

I am running the most current version of messenger and all of my Office
updates are current.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Greetings,

Are you using MSN Messenger? If so, Outlook 2002 requires Windows Messenger in order for its
built-in functionality with Messenger to work.

Yes, I am using Windows Messenger V5.0 (5.0.0482).

That is what is driving me nuts, it says I have to have at least version....
crud... you won't believe this, I went in to find the error it has been
giving me this whole time, and now the options pop up. Grrrrr.

I think I know what the problem was... it was not loading the messenger when
Outlook started. So, with it offline, it was giving me the error. Not
sure, that might be the prob.

Thanks for the help anyway.
