Thanks to some detective work by Harry Kaplan, we managed to track
down Ian Finley (of Kaged, Babel, and Exhibition fame) and get
permission to host scans of the feelies for his games. The materials
for making the originals are alas lost to time, but you can see what
they looked like and enjoy the soundtrack and hint file for Babel, as
well as the full registered versions of these works (free!).

We're also now taking orders for Robb Sherwin's "Necrotic Drift"
package -- the full multimedia experience, with interpreters, on a
professionally boxed and labeled CD; printed manual; and a 20-sided
die. Check it out.

Wow, amazing news. I had, actually, just returned to some of these games
and was wondering about some of the registration details; in particular,
the easter egg in Exhibition which the author hinted at, years ago. In
fact I was planning to make a post about that, though that's of course
unnecessary now.

Shouldn't the Greta Samsavich obituary be part of Kaged, rather than
Exhibition?

Incidentally, does this mean that Finley is out of the IF community now?
(What, another one of the good ones?)

You're right -- sorry for the mix-up. We'll get this straightened
out.

He hasn't really been active for the last two years or so -- or
present at all. I don't know whether it means he intends to do
anything more with IF, but I was encouraged by the enthusiastic
response to our email. It sounded like he'd just been overwhelmed
with work. Maybe he'll come back one day.

It's about time! I suggested to Ian that he hook up with feelies.org _ages_ ago. : )

I hope so -- Exhibition remains one of my favourite works.
