I need a new keyboard as I am missing a key and I just want a back lit one now.
Currently I have a dell sk-8115 that looks just like this.

What I really like about this keyboard is that there really is no extra stuff. I don't want a keyboard with that 2 inch palm rest below the space bar or with any macro keys. Just a standard 104 key.
I also really like the extended height of the spacebar, it allows me to find it easier while typing and I don't need to angle my thumb to press it. The tactile response is pretty good. I hear a medium noise click, but it can be soft if I am typing slow. It also has a pretty good amount of stiffness but not to stiff like some old school keyboards. I like the thinner enter key for some reason, whenever I type on a keyboard with the extended one, it feels funny.
If possible I would like a backlit version of this keyboard, but I don't think they make them.

Budget: $70 about, but it really doesn't matter too much, if I see one that is too expensive I just wont buy it.

Mechanical: No preference, but if it isn't I don't want it to be a super soft, noiseless keyboard, preferably one that feels mechanical.

Num pad: Prefer to have one, but I will let it go if it is the perfect keyboard besides that.

Spacebar: I really want an extended one, I might make an exception, but not likely. As well as the start, and alt keys that are extended on this model.

Ergonomics: I don't really like them, especially the extended palm rests.

Enter key: Preferably not an extended one.

Layout: US layout

Wired: Yes

Use: mainly web surfing typing and moderate gaming, but not RTS so key lag isn't a big issue.

Backlit: Yes, no real color preference. But light up keys might be the better term for what I want.

Sorry for being so picky :/ but I do really like this one. Thank you for the help in advance.

You might want to consider something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823162029
It uses mechanical key switches, but not Cherry MX switches. It has kailh switches which are basically knock offs of Cherry MX. This one feels like a Cherry MX Blue which has a tactile bump and a clicky sound. It has full blue backlighting and does not come with anything extra.

What about something in brown, I don't wanna annoy my skype friends too much.

Ok awesome, that seems like the keyboard I wan to ge tthen. I don't know if I will get the brown or not, i will decide later, but probably will get the blue as it is less expensive and amazon sells it at the same price. I have an amazon gift card, so I am looking to use it up.
