New Keyboard

Hello,
i have a new HP keyboard and computer. Some keys haVE ANOTHER SET OF CHARACTERS IN BLUE. When I use the shift kwy, I get these blue charCTERS. ie shift 2 gives me " shift 3 gives me /, etc.

Have you tried to uninstall/reinstall the drivers for this keyboard? That might help. It's at least worth a try, otherwise, you might have a defective keyboard.

There is no issue here, every number key has a secondary character you get to by pressing Shift. Or are you saying you have 3 different options to pick from? Was there an application disk that came with the keyboard? You may need to install the software to control the keys properly then.

Although from the characters you put down, you have a non-standard or a non-US keyboard.
