When I replaced the battery on my MSI GF62 7re, one of the RAM slots stopped working all together, boot looping on and off. I couldn't try it with the old battery again, because that was completely dead, and even when plugged in now, it still won't boot with the second ram slot occupied.
Good thing is both of the RAM sticks work fine still, but would really love to have dual channel. I can tell the RAM sticks weren't the factory ones, because one was 16gb and the other was 32gb. Ik overkill. It is a second hand laptop and I got off a person who used to do video editing for his uni stuff, but that's about all ik
