My Acer Helios Predator 300 recently just died. I've had it for 5 years or so. Any recommendations on a laptop for "some" gaming and one with good CPU for stock market app processing?
Never had a problem with gaming on that Acer besides the 256GB SSD. I'd like to have a 512 this time. Here was the spec's on it.
15.6" Full HD IPS, Intel i7 CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD, GeForce GTX 1060-6GB, VR Ready, Red Backlit KB, Metal Chassis, Windows 10 64-bit
I gamed on it but nothing extreme (Far Cry 6 recently) so I'd like for it to be able to at least handle gaming but I'm not hardcore. The acer I had, being 5 years old still handled the games I play with no problem. Stock trading app I mainly use is Webull and it didn't do a horrible job at keeping up with that (feels laggy every now and again)
Budget would be around 800 - 1200 and anywhere that offers a payment plan.
Never been steered wrong coming here for suggestions (loved the Helios Predator when it was suggested) so I thought I'd try again.
