I switched to wireless mice about five years ago. I did the research and ended up buying a Logitech 510 wireless laser mouse. At the time, I was sick of optical mice and wanted to try a laser mouse. This was used mostly at a desk. Then a about two years ago, I got a Logitech K800 wireless keyboard, and things changed. I began computing from my recliner on my 50 inch HDTV, and I really prefer recliner computing.
Now I want to upgrade the mouse. It has to be wireless. It has to track well. It has to work well in games. If my mouse pad is handy fine , if not i use my shirt or shorts instead. My experience with optical mice is a bit dated , but tracking wasn't great .
From my research, Logitech is the brand to get. The best tracking options are MX Anywhere2 @ $55, MX Master @ $70. The Gaming options are G 602 @ $40, G 700S @ $55, G403 Wireless @ $80,
My hand size is large. The hand width & length is 4.5" W and 8" L (11.5cm & 20cm). .
Originally I was looking at the G700S, but it has battery life issues. The G602 is a basic choice. I am leaning towards the G403 wireless, but I don't know if the tracking will be good enough. I would get the G900, but it is too expensive.
The two MX mice have great tracking, and I suspect that the gaming aspects are better than the current M510 mouse. But at $55 - $70 it needs to be much better than the M510. Is the G403 worth twice the G602?
So what are your thoughts? Go with the cheap G602? Go with the current best gaming buy the G403 Wireless? Or go with the Darkfield Laser sensor that will track anywhere including on the bottom of your boot?
Thanks in advance.
