New Logitech Mouse Choice? I will Never buy another wired mouse!

I switched to wireless mice about five years ago. I did the research and ended up buying a Logitech 510 wireless laser mouse. At the time, I was sick of optical mice and wanted to try a laser mouse. This was used mostly at a desk. Then a about two years ago, I got a Logitech K800 wireless keyboard, and things changed. I began computing from my recliner on my 50 inch HDTV, and I really prefer recliner computing.

Now I want to upgrade the mouse. It has to be wireless. It has to track well. It has to work well in games. If my mouse pad is handy fine , if not i use my shirt or shorts instead. My experience with optical mice is a bit dated , but tracking wasn't great .

From my research, Logitech is the brand to get. The best tracking options are MX Anywhere2 @ $55, MX Master @ $70. The Gaming options are G 602 @ $40, G 700S @ $55, G403 Wireless @ $80,

My hand size is large. The hand width & length is 4.5" W and 8" L (11.5cm & 20cm). .

Originally I was looking at the G700S, but it has battery life issues. The G602 is a basic choice. I am leaning towards the G403 wireless, but I don't know if the tracking will be good enough. I would get the G900, but it is too expensive.

The two MX mice have great tracking, and I suspect that the gaming aspects are better than the current M510 mouse. But at $55 - $70 it needs to be much better than the M510. Is the G403 worth twice the G602?

So what are your thoughts? Go with the cheap G602? Go with the current best gaming buy the G403 Wireless? Or go with the Darkfield Laser sensor that will track anywhere including on the bottom of your boot?

Thanks in advance.

I got my parents a G602 for recliner gaming, but they're playing cards and stuff, gaming, but I feel uncomfortable calling it that with a straight face. I have the G602 and the G700s and the G700s is far far superior, but you pay for it with battery life. If you're like me, just get a handful of eneloops and be done with it, charge some while you're using the one in it. Also, as long as you're using a NiMH battery, the 700s will charge while plugged in, so while you're using it, unplug, when you're done, plug it in. Wish I could be more helpful. I went wireless years ago with a Logitech MX1000, that was a 100$ mouse and that was awesome mouse til the buttons finally gave up on me, and when it retired it was in bad shape, I tried about a dozen other mouse manufacturers before going back to Logitech, learned my lesson, will only get Logitechs from here out. Gonna check out that 900, that sounds boss.

I looked into the wireless Razer mice . If they are half as bad as they are depicted in the forums, they are a waste of money. I tried out a wired Razer Death Adder years ago. The quality seemed OK, It was longer than I am used to. Plus I didn't like the scroll wheel. The Razer Mamba Choma might be a good choice, but it is even more expensive than the G900. That is nuts.

I think that I would like the G 700S, but it would be a pain to constantly have to change the batteries. But some of the wireless mice that have to be re-charged have battery life in the 12 hour range That would be like having to plug the mouse in every other day. That would defeat the purpose of a wireless mouse.

From what I understand the G403 Wireless, has the exact sensor and wireless technology for $50 less. It seems like a good choice.

Oh ya, forgot to add, I've got a Razer 7.1 USB headset, it was my first, bought it refurb from the Egg, and for my first headset, I was amazed how good the sound was, so I started buying more headsets, and from what I can tell, Razer are good, but not the best, and overpriced, I would think mice would be the same, the few Razer mice I've tried felt kinda flimsy, granted, I didn't get to spend a lot of time with them, so anything past first impressions is lost on this story, but ya. If you want to wait a couple of days, just ordered the 900 chaos spectrum, I can tell ya first hand how it compares to the 700s and the 602. Just outta curiousity, what was the best price you found on that 900? Also, if the 403 fits your playstyle, that sounds like the best choice for ya. After I used the 602 and got all the buttons setup for my playstyle, it's something I can't live without now, and the smooth or clicky scroll wheel on the 700s is super handy for webpages and the like.
