I cannot for the life of me find a solution anywhere for this.
I just bought a new Samsung 990 series 2tb M.2 to replace my older 128Gb one.
This is only meant as a fast access drive for gaming, so nothing else will be going on it but multiplayer Steam games, Tarkov and the like.
Problem is, when i take the older M.2 out and put this one in, i no longer have access to the internet. Took it back out, still no access. Put the OLD one back in, and tada, i have access again. So my first thought is something with drivers being installed on the old M.2, but i have no idea WTH im doing in that regard, as i never had to do anything of the sort when i first got the older drive.

So, can anyone help me in whatever the heck it is i need to do to get this new drive in and with internet?

NVM everyone, for some reason its just decided to work again after putting it back in when i went to do a network reset.

A friend thinks it just needed time to register the new device and install whatever drivers it needed to function. In which case, youd think there would be a pop up telling you thats what it needs to do...
