I just purchased a new M.2 SSD
Samsung (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM) 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB - M.2 NVMe Interface Internal Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology
It will be arriving on Sunday. Can someone please give me the steps to installing windows 10 on this fresh drive. I am mostly familiar but I want to make sure I don't miss anything.
I have windows 10 on a flash drive
I will be moving all my files to a new flash drive and completely deleting everything on all drives..
I am familiar with the bios.
Basically, I want to make sure I don't miss any formatting issues.
I am not sure if I should change the size of the partition when windows starts to install or just let it do what it wants.
I don't want to end up with a 1 teribyte SSD where I lose half of it to <Mod Edit> formatting
I saw a video tutorial that said I should change the primary partition to 1003000. I just want to make sure what I am learning is correct. I have until Sunday to prepare to do this correctly
