New Mainboard , which one ?

Hello guys and specialists. Just want to ask you, which board you would recommend. asus or Gigabyte ? Next is, i want to be able to use the ltest Generation of Intel cpu...i have a Gigabyte gty 960 graphic Card ..so would be nice i could use it for somethime. not high end Systems thought about 350$ for board an cpu ..ah yes and ddr4 would be nice. thanks a lot

Asus and Gigabyte are both quality. I wouldn't pick one above another in terms of quality and reliability. However I do prefer Gigabyte for their UD series motherboards.

Brand equality in motherboards and graphics cards does not improve compability or performance in any way. If you have an Asus mobo with a Gigabyte GPU it will perform just like Gigabyte mobo and GPU.

Mobo choice is not that important once you're choosing from a selection of quality ones remember. Take notes of what is important to you in a good mobo. Good audio, USB 3.1, SLI etc.

I would say good Audio is one, the other one is realy space and Quality... sufficiant Slots ( not everything you know in advance ) for some time being able NOT to update all the time... want to use my gtx960 just for some time,,, graphics of course... have seen this new Gigabyte gaming Card but i guess i never will Need 2 GPU . 32 or mybe sometimes later 64 gb ram possibility... and enough of all those guys called sata and best of all they are Sprinters 🙂. you see, i am not such a specialist. just did some time before some comps and then stopped. atx Format of course for me... tried Micro, but did not like it... yes, thats what i can say... and after collecting 3 months the parts you face : Intel brought a new series... bang to say the truth, thats not normal any longer. i know ist Marketing... but that does not mean it is sane. want now a rig which i can use for 2 to 3 years without probs and having some fun with all those virtual stuff additional 🙂

Hi guys, have a Problem. just comparing the asus and the Gigabyte z170 mobos. and i can not decide which one... the maximus ragner Looks nice, but also the Gigabyte g series... just want of course the best choice for Money, i read asus i giving a better Software package and has a better Performance at all ? ... oh man.. i want the times of atari ST back... lock..like.buy.play..finish 🙂

Well, there is the Xbox One and PS4 really lol. They do exactly that.

But as I already said, you are choosing from 2 great motherboards. So both will be good really.
