New Major Upgrade. Check this.

Hi. I will buy a new PC now. I just want to have a few opinions to see if this is what i need to play the upcoming next-gen games that's coming nearby.
Here's what i chose:

Processor: AMD Athlon64 X2 4800+

Motherboard: DFI LANParty NF4 SLI-DR

Memory Ram: OCZ EL DDR PC-3200 Dual Channel Gold VX

Graphics Card: 2*NVIDIA 7800 GTX in SLI with CoolViva VHC-L61 to cool the graphics card.

Power Supply: Coolermaster RealPower 550 W

Computer Case: Lian Li PC60 Plus

Water Cooling: Innovatek Premium XXS: Premium Class

DVD Burner: Samsung TS-H552B

SoundCard: Creative Labs Audigy 4 Pro with GigaWorks THX S750 7.1

Monitor: Samsung CRT Flat 1100DF

Hard-Drives: 2*250GB WESTERN-DIGITAL RAPTOR WD CAVIAR SE16 SATA II with CoolDrive Lite LHD-V07 to cool the Hard-Drives.

So...what do you think? (apart of being especially expensive)

i think you have your hd's mixed up, as far as i know, raptors dont come in 250gb, and if you're thinking about doing a raid setup, read <A HREF="http://www.anandtech.com/storage/showdoc.aspx?i=2101&p=11" target="_new">this</A>

Why not get a 24" Dell LCD?

You are already dropping like 3-4grand, you might as well have a rediculously nice screen to do all that gaming on.

Yes. I've understood my mistake now. But talking about that Dell monitor...it's only $1.199 GEEZ but it's freakin' beautiful

People were getting it as low as 800shipped with coupons like a week ago.
Maybe the coupons are still active....i dont know.

If you're just going to be making an gaming machine of destruction, maybe consider getting a higher clocked processor rather than dual core. You'll get better frame-rates (but I guess with the 100+ fps you'll be getting, that might not matter).
