hi,

I need a 2nd opinion (better performance, fiability) upon some MB btw. which I try to chose (filtered by me based on availability, 2xM2, mAtx, reviwes, price).

LGA1200 for 10th-11th generation

Asus Prime B460M-A
MSI MAG B460M Mortar

AM4 for 5xxx series (5600x...)

Asus Tuf Gaming B550M-Plus
Asus Prime B550M-A
Asus tuf b450m-pro gaming

Tks

Your post is a little confusing. You've mentioned you'd like to get an AMD Ryzen 5600x to pair with the boards listed under AMD's line but you didn't mention what processor you're aiming for if you choose an Intel platform. If you're looking at overclocking the processor and rams, you need to look at a Z series chipsetted motherboard and a K suffix processor. If you don't intend to overclock, you're fine with non K suffix processors and a B or H series chipset.

Where are you located and what is your preferred site for purchase not to mention your budget...?

there are 2 platforms because i haven.t decided yet. no OC will be done (this is why the B chipset series mentioned). the selection will be paird with a Rtx 3080.

i5 10400 for intel or ryzen 5600x for amd (this will exclude howerver the MB with b450).

Add., I recently read on Msi that Gpu Rtx 3xxx series are not supported by Mortar Mag 460m (!!) which is troubling.
