Hi All,

Just a few questions regarding MATX motherboards.

what i have is an i7 1156 cpu, an old as Asus P8P67 deluxe motherboard. Im wanting to reduce the overall size of my pc to matx, i have a HAF932 desktop and dont need that sort of space anymore. Also with that, earlier this year i got a GTX780 GLH edition for my birthday, i really want a new matx to help me extract as much as i can out of the GTX with out completely overhauling my PC.

I dont think i will need an ROG board or anything super fast, if its going to make a notable difference ill be open to it.

I have been looking at lots of matx and i know plenty are around, but im just after some peoples opinions and help.

Also, something with an msata slot will be great so I can reduce the overall size of the case again by using an msata ssd.

Cheers.

Can never remember which it is, and no it's a non k versions. Thanks for the advice.

I'd have to disagree with that. Asus has much better quality than ASRock. Their new motherboards for LGA1150 I might recommend, if on a budget, but their older motherboards are inferior to Asus

You may be right, I'm not sure. I hadn't checked ASrock boards prior to 2013. I've had an ASUS board since like 2009.
