New MB doesn't turn on

Right, I connected everything, connected the MB switch to the power, inserted the ram/video cards and all the power from the PSU to the MB, but it refuses to turn on (not even a beep or anything - no lifesigns)- what could be the cause?

Is the standby power LED on?
