New mic Snowball ice blue has strange tinny robot echo sound

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong? My google searches have come up with similar but not the same problem. Any advice is greatly appreciated and I apologize for my noobness, I am new here and to streaming.

Before this I used a razor headset with no problems. The only thing I can think of is the new cam I have bought logitech c920 is also using its mic even though I have disabled its output in slobs (stream labs obs).

Perhaps the mic is too close or too far? I should also mention I have a fan blowing on my and you can hear it faintly in the clip but I am not worried about this.

I just want a the mic to sound as normal as possible, I know I can tweak all further settings with 3rd party freeware.

tldr: My mic sounds weird, like an echo.... snowball blue / webcam logitech c920 / windows 10 / 16 gigs ram / msi geforce 1060 6gigs vram / i5 4460 cpu @ 3.20ghz / the cam and mic are both plugged in usb 3 / my head set is plugged in usb 1 / webcam and headset both have mic input disabled in OBS.

From what I've read that is due to the distance you put your mic, gain settings, and the room you're using it in. If you have it too far away from you it can pick up room noise.

There are a variety of fixes, most common are wind filters, articulating booms (to bring mic closer without cluttering your desk), isolation boxes, and 3rd party software. These as said are all if tweaking the mic settings and position don't yield adequate results.
