[SOLVED] new microsoft edge

hi all,

hope you are all well and keeping safe.

Windows ran a big update the other day. i noticed my startup and shut down is slightly quicker.

i have to say that Edge is faster than it used to be (well on my PC)

i want to ask something about the updated favourites feature. previously, lets say i had 20 favourites. when i visit, lets say, favourite 10 and i want to go further, when i open the bookmarks it will automatically highlight the last one i used, ie the 10th one. this makes it quicker to move on further. this new edge sends me to the top. anyway of changing that?

The new Edge is based on Chrome, with a few adjustments. It may take a while for all the features to match

Its not simple to find a Microsoft assistance forum for Edge. I can find one for the Edge Insider program which I didn't even know existed - https://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/en-us/

I guess you can try the feedback hub app (I always forget it exists)

Did you manually upgrade Edge after the Windows update? If not you're still running the old Edge. The new Chromium based Edge won't be integrated until at least the next major update.
