New mid-high range build, need opinions

Hello,

I have a list here that im looking at purchasing for a new build. I want to use Windows 7, and ill be mainly using the computer for Graphic/ Web Design and 3d modeling/ rendering. Occasional Crysis player =). I want to try to stay around $1000. I realize I'm missing the case, power supply, and an optical drive.Ill be adding those later, I want to get the main parts right.


Any suggestions, feedback or comments would be appreciated.

Hello. I am using the DDR3 XMS3 8gb 1333 (CMX8GX3M2A1333C9) on an ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3. The system has the mem set on SPD as 1066 MHZ and at 8-8-8-20 latency. Memtest was run on the sticks individually (using USB flash drive) and did not have any errors. When both sticks are installed, memtest hangs at random passes and system becomes unresponsive, forcing a reset. Also the system will sometimes not boot at all when i set the memory speed manually as 1333 9-9-9-24 1.5v. My mobo has a memory led that stays lit when it refuses to boot. I hold the memOK button to solve "compatibility issues" even though ASUS states this is compatible ram with the board I got. If it even boots the windows 7 install CD hangs when loading files and then if I reboot the PC it wont POST and the memory LED comes on, so I use the memOK button and it defaults the mem to default 1066 with 8-8-8-24 latency. Any tips/help would be appreciated, I really need to figure this out. Thanks.
