New Mid range Gaming build

This is a Build I am putting together in a couple of days time and was wondering if anyone could see any mistakes I have made or any advice they could give me please.

the seagate 2tb is really bad replace it, corsair psu is really bad. the rest is nice

i really wonder how fast u can fill a 1tb hdd that requires 15 triple A games.
or few hunderd series, if u delete all u unessereties once ina while ur fine .

I am building the pc myself and have been doing so for the past 20 odd years. Budget wise i am trying to keep it as cheap as possible without compromising the build. Got a family to worry about nowadays lol.
I would prefer to use just overclockers since I have a nice deal going with them for delivery

A build similar to this will pretty much max out any game at 1080p. No corners have been cut on any of the parts, but for what you pay you're getting a very solid PC. Sorry but I couldn't use overclockers since they are not listed on PCPartPicker. A similar build from them should cost around £850.

I somehow forgot an SSD! My bad. OP did have a 2TB HDD in his build so I thought it's best to include one of the same size since he's the best judge about how much storage he needs.

On the SSD, though usually I'd recommed the BX100 for budget builds here I'd say it's best to go for the 850 EVO. It's only £5 more, and well worth it for the two extra years of warranty (Not that it's going to fail in that time space; just extra reassurance) and marginally better performance. Everything else is fine.

Ataxia, your super fancy water cooled overclocked i5 build that's several hundred pounds more expensive will give you practically no real world performance increases over our "minimum spec" build.

There's a fine line between PC parts. On one side are the absolute essentials - 8GB RAM, an SSD, a 970 and a decent PSU. They are the core components that'll make a difference in how immersive games are. On the flipside, you have luxuries - overclocking, insane cooling, huge cases, OP GPUs, etc. They are nice to have, but in reality how much is a few MHz increase in the CPU - or a few Hz in the GPU - going to affect how games look?

Both mine and CT Turbo's builds will max out any game at 1080p. Do you really want to spend more on features that, though they may be advertised as essential, are really just nice to have?

I'm assuming it the locked i5 and H97 motherboard.
