new mobo goes bios asrock splash screen than a black screen with a flashing _ in the top left and stays there.

Got a new mobo to upgrade to an FX 6 core cpu from my amd athlon 860k,well the board boots and goes to a flashing _ in the top left of a black screen. Decided to wipe hdd and reinstall windows but now it says cannot instal on any partitions any Ideas?

The mobo is a asrock n68 - GS4 FX r2.0
Gpu:GTX 750TI
1TB HDD
Cpu: FX 6300
RAM: 16GB DDR3

Any and all help is appreciated thx x3

Note: HDD works so its not a HDD failure

Had to delete partitions in the windows boot drive solution all fixed

I have this same issue, what do you mean by deleting partitions in the boot drive?
