I just got a ASUS prime z270-a mobo and everything works fine but I'm having trouble with my mouse for some reason. When I start up Windows 7, once it gets to my home screen either the mouse doesn't work at all or it flies around the screen widly. The scroll also doesn't work at all, keyboard is fine and I switched the two usb ports to see if it was perhaps that but they both work for the keyboard.
The mouse works fine, scrolling included in the bios so I'm guessing the mouse is fine.
Why is it not working right after booting up? Do I need some sort of driver for the new mobo or mouse?
I should also add that I did a bunch of windows updates before getting my new mobo installed.
