I got a new asus mobo for my amd build that i have had for a couple years now, here are the old specs;
- msi 760gm am3 mobo
- amd athlon ii x3 445
- msi radeon hd 7850 2gb
- seagate 1tb hdd
- 4gb pny ram, 4gb kingston ram, and 2gb kingston ram
- 450w psu

it worked perfectly fine over hdmi and dvi out of the graphics card and now i replaced the mobo with an asus m5a99x evo r2.0 and fx 6300 processor
the mobo lights go on, all the fans turn on, and the graphics card fans turn on, but no beeps from mobo and nothing on the screen
ive already tried different grapics ports, reseated graphics card, replugged in everything, but it still doesnt work
-thank you for any help in advance

If I had to guess, I'd say there's a good chance that your mixed RAM may be the problem. Am I right in assuming that you have one stick each of 4GB PNY and Kingston? Try pulling all of the RAM sticks, then pick one 4GB stick and install it in slot A2, then turn it on and try to boot to BIOS. It should work in any of the DIMM slots, but the manual recommends A2.

I had a problem on my previous motherboard when I bought new Corsair 1600Hz 2x4GB DDR3 RAM.
The mobo could just handle 4GB on DDR3. Now with my new Gigabyte Gaming 5 Motherboard I can use both RAM sticks= 8GB.
The problem may be that you have two different brands, of your RAM sticks. 😉
