Question New monitor 1920x1080 looks pixelated and fuzzy

Jun 29, 2020
Guys I'd be glad if someone could help me in this.
My grandpa knew I was looking for a monitor to my pc wich has a GT710-2-SL, so he gave me his old TV as he bought a new one. The TV is a Shontech 28" LED from 2015 ( I know it's very low-end ), the problem is as soon as I connected with HDMI to the pc, I saw that the image was very fuzzy and pixelated.

I tried to reinstall Geforce drivers and change some configs in Nvidia Control Panel but nothing seems to work. The native resolution that Windows 10 shows for the monitor is 1920x1080, but the image only gets with minimal quality when I set it to 1366x768 or lower, but still not normal ,knowing that native is 1920x1080 60Hz.

I also tried to remove my graphics card and make a cleaning on my pc thinking it might be some type of contact. Before turning on the PC I had the ideia to remove the Graphics Card and connect HDMI to the main board, using the onboard graphics, but the result was the same, with all recent drivers.

In a desesperate try, I got my VGA and connected the TV to the pc, but it stayed the same, only with a lower resolution.

On the TV side, all settings look normal, with the aspect ratio set to FULL, otherwise in settings like 16:9 I don't have all the screen available, I even rename the HDMI1 input to "PC" as many forums recommend it.

I searched a lot during the past week but nothing i saw solve my problems, and I hope that make my own topic could get me get some aswners, be free to request anything you feel necessary.

What confuses me is that if I connect the normal antenna cable to watch normal TV channels, or even connect to my ps3 the image is FANTASTIC, so I don't understand why in the pc it looks so awful and makes me belive the problem is configuration or incompability.
