Hi,

I've just got a new monitor, benq Rl2455hm, and I am using a HD6900 Radeon graphics card. I have noticed that if i do a search in google, when I scroll the results, some of the listings kind of jump and it can ripple down to the one below as I scroll. It isn't localised to one area of the screen, it can happen anywhere, top ro bottom of the list. Its fine when i'm not scrolling but always happens to one of the listings when i scroll; it kind of pops out and if i scroll down fast the distortion ripples over other listings.

It is a little like when you have yet to install graphics drivers after a fresh install but...i've got my graphics drivers installed, I have catalyst control centre running and it tells me the driver is the most uptodate, and i've also installed the benq driver from the cd through the device manager and windows tells me there are no more up-to-date drivers available.

I also noticed, when playing prison architect, that some of the lines/walls in the game, flicker when the screen scrolls. Anyone any ideas if this is an issue that is fixable or something i'm just going to have to live with from a £130 monitor.

I've exhuasted my limited knowledge so would appreciate any guidance.

Thanks, Rob

Have you tried a simple graphics driver reinstall?

Hi, yes i had reinstalled catalyst control centre and it also told me the driver was up-to-date but based on your comment i decided i'd try again. I completely uninstalled catalyst control centre and the drivers so windows was running in that weird no graphics driver kind of a way, redownloaded catalyst centre again and reinstalled and amazingly it worked. God knows what happened before, corrupt driver? Who knows, but thank you.
