new monitor blurry text issue

Just hooked up a auria eq276wn monitor to my gtx 780 ti using dvi cable.when i turn the resolution over 1080p including it's native res which is 2560x1440 the text is almost unreadable kinda looks blurry. I noticed when the resolution is at 2560x1440 on the gtx 780 and i use the osd menu on the monitor and go to where it says what res it is at it shows that it's at 1280x1440 so i think this is the problem when i set the res to 2560x1440 its really displaying 1280x1440 at full screen which would be why text and images look incorrect.If anyone knows a fix for this please let me know so i can enjoy the 2k res that this monitor is capable of.

what windows version are you using ??

I found the problem was with the dvi cable i was using wasn't a dual link dvi after switching to a dual link dvi cable the problem was gone now im gaming @1440p
