New monitor colour looks to bright,white,faded colours

So this is the situation
I recently bought a Aoc 2270w monitor with the intent for gaming
I know its not meant for gaming but it was cheap
I noticed that the screen is too white or bright
For example black looks gray and white has a slight yellow tint to it
I have a dual monitor setup i have this, and also a Lg 1360x768 Tv
Comparing the two the Tv has a deeper and more pronounced colour while the Aoc looks a little washed out and bright
I am a total newbie to monitor colours
any kind of help is appreciated .Thank You

Monitor has own controls for lighting, colors and warmth, try playing with them.
