[SOLVED] New monitor failing after 2 days

Last saturday I bought a Viewsonic VX3276-2K-MHD, came back home, turn it ON and it was working great, Sunday the same thing, everything was fine no problems.
Today, Monday, I return from work, turn on my pc and monitor and theres is a vertical rectangle area dimmed out (like if the back light of that sector is Off or not working properly).

Tried a few things
2 diferent HDMI cables on HDMI 1 and 2 ports.
Turn it off and on again.
Moving it a bit.
And then tried my old LG display which had no issue at all.

Here comes the wierd thing: after having it ON for like 10 mins then it was suddenly ok. But if I turn it off for like 20 to 30 mins, then it does the same problem again.

Im guessing this is a backlight issue?

the pictures are not working but I agree about the backlight, it sounds like its needing to warm up.
if its new I would return it as you paid for a new working unit.
