I recently got a new monitor (ASUS ROG Strix 27” XG27AQM) and I've been experiencing the screen going black for 2-3 seconds. It mostly happens while playing games (mostly WoW atm) but it has happened once while not playing games. Sometimes it's really bad and it just keeps happening and sometimes it doesn't happen at all. I've tried everything I could think of from uninstalling/reinstalling the GPU driver to updating my bios. So I have to turn to the experts.

Things I've tried so far:
  • Updating GPU driver
  • Uninstalling/Reinstalling the GPU driver
  • Changed the DP cable 3 times (1 I had, 1 that came with the monitor, and 1 I ordered from amazon)
  • Changed DP port between 1 and 2
  • Updating mobo bios
  • Updating mobo drivers (updating whatever drivers I could really)
