[SOLVED] New Monitor help

Im going to be getting a new monitor but im stuck between a Dell SE2717H 27 Inch Full HD, IPS, AMD FreeSync™ which has 6ms response time or a Dell SE2417HG 23.6in Full HD with a 2ms response time but no free sync.

A larger display, with FreeSync seems like a fair tradeoff for the response time.

2ms to 6ms isn't huge - and shouldn't impact the gaming experience to 99.99% of gamers.

There is also the Asus VP247QG which has 1ms respnce time and freesync but a th panel, so would you get a Dell 27 1080p ips panel or the asus?

It's a matter of opinion, honestly. IPS should net you better colors, TN better response time.

As a 'gaming' panel, I'd probably opt for the ASUS, but both seem valid options here.

Would there be a noticeable input lag on the Dell ips?

Some would claim a slight 'lag' but those would be the best of the best in competitive FPS gaming.
To the average gamer (heck, even an above average gamer) though, no.
