[SOLVED] New monitor help

Hi everyone!
I have a rtx 2060 6gb and will be buying a ryzen 5 3600. I currently have a 1080p 60hz monitor and want something better.
Should i go for 1080p 144hz, 1440p 60hz or 1440p 144hz?
Any monitor suggestions would be great, i live in the uk am willing to spend £300-350 on a new monitor

• around 27 inches
• Height adjustable
• I prefer an IPS panels
• Good brightness

Well, your budget allows for 1440p 144hz at 27" IPS, so I would go with that.

Keep in mind, people tend to keep monitors longer than GPUs, so even if you can't maximize FPS in all your games now, next GPU upgrade you probably will be able to. And your lighter titles will be able to take advantage of the resolution and refresh rate now.

Other option would be to go for a cheaper 1080p 144hz panel to see if you even enjoy high refresh rate monitors.

Just for anyone looking at this rough budget:

XV272U from Acers is the cheapest 27" 144hz IPS display in the UK at the moment.

ASUS TUF Gaming VG27VQ is a "165hz" VA curved display at 1080p. Has some newer tech in it, but sacrificing resolution and viewing angles not really great in my opinion. Only real advantage is HDR support, but only HDR 400, so not great in that regard.

Unless you meant the VG27WQ, which is the 1440p version of the above. But a little more expensive. Still the same basic stats though, curved VA, HDR400.
