I've just changed from a curved Asus PG27VQ monitor to a new Asus PG27UQ 4k gaming monitor (flat screen) and for some reason the image looks curved on it but curves are going inwards rather than outwards like on the curved monitor. Am I crazy or is it because I was using a curved monitor for 2 years?
It's probably just your brain. I remember a similar situation when people started moving from old CRT and TV's to flat screens. Your brain automatically compensated for the slight bubble front distortion of the old CRT and it takes some time for it to stop doing that when you move to a true flat screen display.
