New Monitor is screen tearing, help!

New BenQ 24-inch LED Monitor, 2ms, HDMI (GL2460HM) started tearing today. I haven't even had it for a day yet, really upset.

My girlfriend tripped over some wiring and it fell forward onto my desk, no damage whatsoever, this can't be the reason.
I have HDMI hooked up, not DVI or VGA.
It only tears on the bottom half when on full screen.

Try replacing HDMI cable or your HDMi port is broken . Did you checked your other ports???

I literally just bought this HDMI cable yesterday.
I havent used HDMI since i got my 960

I think I solved the issue.
I had made the HDMI my main display and the other is DVI, I should have noticed this sooner.
No more tearing =)
