[SOLVED] New monitor = screen tearing

Just bought new monitor after 10 years, old one still works perfectly tho, so both are 60hz, how come i never had screen tearing issue with old monitor?

Forgot to mention, old montior is 18.5" 720p, new one is 21.5" 1080p, also i always had vsync off on old monitor without any problems as i said

Did you upgrade your graphics card also? What's the model name of your graphics card?

Still same graphics card, Radeon HD 7770

Did you use a different monitor cable? Different connector types (VGA, DVI, HDMI, DP) ?
Any adapters with monitor cable?

Yeah old monitor didnt have hdmi, so i used vga with dvi adapter, i will try that one instead of hdmi and report back if its okay or not. Thanks

Probably that adapter is causing problems. DVI cable or DP cable would be the best.
