New monitor soon...hopefully. Go 4K or Ultra-wide??

Hi all. I'm looking at possibly getting a new monitor in the near future, hopefully in a month or 2. I'm kinda stuck between some options and I'm hoping someone w/ experience has some details to share. I'm currently using my Dell U2711. No real complaints, just looking for something new. I mainly web browse; posting on here half the time :) When I'm not browsing, I'm gaming. Anyways, I'm thinking about one those new Ultra wide Curved LG 34UC97, Dell U3415W, and a Samsung similar 34". They seem similar in specs though I don't think the Samsung uses IPS. In the reviews I've looked at, they were generally good for productivity, but a hit or miss when it comes to gaming due to Ultra-wide support. Some games look/work great, but others you'll be stuck w/ odd scaling or black bars. The other monitor that caught my eye is the just announced ASUS Swift PG27AQ 4K model. They are both 60 hz, but I've always used 60 hz, though the ASUS has G-sync. How are these Swift monitors(looks and quality wise), as they seem to be pretty popular? I like this model for being 4k, though it's the same 27" size I'm currently using. Also wanted to point out I'm using two 970's in SLI in my new setup, still tweaking OC on my CPU, and I haven't updated my Sig yet.
