New monitor won’t let me into BIOS

I bought a viewsonic vx2758-cmh monitor for my current build and cannot access BIOS. I hooked my old monitor up and it still lets me in. I have turned off ‘fast boot’ (using my old monitor) but I am still unsuccessful. I know I can just hook my old one to get into BIOS if I need to, but I’d really like to figure out what the problem, or trick is so I don’t have to swap them out occasionally.

Did you install the drivers for your monitor?

Yes.. every driver available.
