I bought a new Monitor today ( Samsung UD590) and i cannot get it to connect to my computer/graphics card. The Graphics card im using is a GTX 780.
My old monitor was connected using a DVI cable, but this monitor only supports HDMI or Displayport. I managed to get the HDMI cable to pick up my old monitor after fiddling around with buttons on the monitor, but the new samsung monitor doesnt have any buttons anywhere. Im looked around and cannot find anything that will help me so im asking for any help with this. thankyou

Solution
use a Display port Cable (DP to DP Only), that'll take advantage of that display @ 60Hz for starters. I have that screen and the HDMI cable is quite troublesome at times, and does not allow 60Hz.
If its like mine (not the same monitor as yours), the controls are under (like hidden) under the logo on the front there. Theyre not that easy to get to. Or find

On mine I had to install Samsung Magictune after. To make it easier for me to change the monitor's settings in Windows.

The wheel thing is just too fiddly
