New Monitor!

Hi all.
I need your advice guys regarding upgrading my monitor. My aged VGA monitor is not in good shape, can't even handle left 4 dead and gets too dark in-game!
The problem I have is that I am extremely under financial difficulty however I am looking into buying one of the following monitors:

both very cheap both barley adequate.... the aoc has a very low 250cd/m² making it hard to see in a well lit room and a rediculously high 20,000,000-1 ratio... which is actually way less impressive than it sounds... in real world performance its about the equivalent of a 500-1 contrast ratio which is pretty poor by most standards. and will struggle to give a watchable image in sunlight.
the acer has an even lower 200cm/m2 so you really will be getting a very cheap lcd that will give a usable image but it may not be completely accurate in brightness or contrast.

I could however push up the budget limit and based on your comment go for this:

if you have a 1gig gfx card that thats not a bad buy. my m8 has that exact model and it gives very reasonable image quality... also the little extra money will go into better build quality...
