New Monitor

Hello everyone,

I'll put it simply: I have a PC with a Radeon 6950 2GB and a i5-2500k and use it mostly for gaming and some writing.

I'm looking for the best 23-24 inch Monitor for a maximum of 250 dollars (can spend a bit more if needed).

Don't need inbuilt speakers and will be using it only myself. I do not have to buy it right now if waiting ends up compensating.

With that many good reviews, can't really do bad with that monitor. I'd get an IPS based screen though, especially since you can go over $200.

Thanks, several people have recommended that one too, although i was looking for 23-24 inch monitors, and i've read it isn't the best for gaming, do you think the 8ms response time will have a notably negative effect while gaming? Also, does this perform well with 1920 x 1200 resolution?

EDIT: Actually i think the DELL U2312H may be the right choice. Is there a big difference between this one and the U2311H?
