New Monitor

I wam looking into getting a new monitor. i curently have an LCD and i want to get a CRT. I am tired of getting the split sreen when im playing games. I would like to know what monitor would be best for under 300$ or if it would ven help getting rid of my split screen getting a CRT in this price range.

The split screen when playing games, what the hell is that, Ive been using a lcd for years thats fairly old and Ive never had games cause it to split screen...(Whatever that is).
