I bought a new motherboard and CPU and assembled them. Now my windows won't boot. At boot i get the following on screen: Copyright (c) 2011 American Megatrends, Inc. BIOS Date 06/05/2014 15:38:15 .... A3

What I tried:

1. Removing all ram, now nothing is displaying.
2. Placing only one ram unit, same screen.
3. Wait a long time to see if it's initializing something, nothing happened.
4. No onboard video card so can't test that.

I'm positive that i placed the cpu the right way (done this before). All cables are plugged in (including but not limited to the 8 pin cpu power cable).

Solution
The 8350 is supported by your motherboard. Your 550W power supply gets decent reviews. Stock coolers on the FX series are noisy but OK if you don't overclock.

Today i tried the FX8350 same screen. My other pc has the exact same motherboard so i'm a bit clueless.

After some trial and error i got it to go to the boot menu but can't install windows/boot windows installation. Asrock 970 extreme3 r2.0 freezing as soon as an usb is connected.
