New motherboard and cpu with old windows 10

I am doing a pretty significant upgrade to my computer I am going from an AMD fx8350 with a crosshair v formula-z mobo, to an Intel i7-6700k with an asus z170-a mobo and I was wondering if I need to do a fresh install of windows or if I can just put my ssd with Windows 10 onto my new mother board without any problems

Also my copy of Windows 10 is an oem.

Yes you do have to do a clean install. Since theyre different cpus, chipsets and use different drivers

This links the OS license to your MS account rather than to specific hardware.

As for reinstall? Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't
A clean install is strongly recommended.
