New motherboard and now pc crashes

So a bit of back story; my PC was broke before, as in it wouldn’t let me boot windows and was just crashing constantly.

I got a new motherboard and for 2 hours this seemed to fix the issue. But then it crashed all of a sudden and when I try and restart the computer it crashes at different points mostly when I try and log on.

I have a relatively new EVGA W1 500W (July 2018).

But why has it worked for so long and now it crashes?

so what motherboard and what CPU. Is it the same motherboard that you had before.

Do you have updated bios, do you have updated drivers

Motherboard: GA-970A-DS3P from Gigabyte
CPU: AMD FX-6300

I'm guessing my power supply caused a power shortage breaking my motherboard, but because the power supply is also broke; replacing my motherboard wasn't enough.
