Hello,I want to buy a MSI B360 Gaming Pro Carbon and I want to put a I5 9600K on it but I heard that I need to update the bios to recognize the 9th generation CPU.
How can I do update the BIOS if the mobo dosen't recognize the CPU?

You can't. Not unless the board has BIOS flashback OR you have an older model CPU that is compatible that can be used temporarily in order to flash the BIOS. That board does not have BIOS flashback, so that's not an option to update without a CPU installed.

Better would be to get a B365 motherboard that is already 9th gen ready or find a model that has BIOS flashback.

You can update your motherboard with a USB stick, without needing a CPU, download the file into a USB stick and update the bios.

Assuming you never done this before, you can followt his guide:
(use the files you need, not the one in the video as they are probably not the same)

Edit:
Listen to Darkbreeze haha, i need to update myself before saying too much :sneaky:

Well, yeah I know how to flash bios but in the video he is updating bios on a working pc with a supported cpu... so,I either have to buy a motherboard that supports 9th gen out of the box or a different cpu...
