Question New motherboard, boots but no post

Specs:
MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus motherboard
Ryzen 5 3600 CPU
MSI RX 5700 Mech OC
16GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400
650W EVGA Supernova Nex650G PSU

Just got a new motherboard, and after installing it and powering it up, I’m not getting a post. The fans spin and the motherboard, keyboard, and mouse leds all light up, but no display. The EZ Debug “BOOT” led is also staying on. For some reason it will also take a few seconds to start up after pushing the power button, very weird.

It has to post before it can boot.

Is it just that you don't see the motherboard logo come up?

Start the PC and tap the F2 button till you see the motherboard logo. Then enter bios and change bios so that the logo is hwon when you start up the PC.

Sorry I didn’t mean to say boot, there’s no post or boot or display or anything, it just “turns on” (fans spin and leds come on)

Can you attach a motherboard speaker to your motherboard and see if it beeps when you start up your PC?

If it beeps just once, that means it's POSTed OK.
If not it will beep a POST problem code per https://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm - AMI bios.
