New motherboard, cpu, and RAM- no display and no peripherals

Hi all, today I bought a new mobo(MSI 970 Gaming),, a new stick of RAM(Patriot Viper DDR3 4GB), and a new CPU(AMD FX 6300). After hooking it all up the system powers on, with motherboard lights, fans working, graphics card fans spin.... But there is no display, as well as no peripherals on (mouse, keyboard,etc). Any suggestions as to what could be causing this? Would it be lack of power? Some mis-connection? We've also tried different RAM to no avail. Thanks for any help!
