new motherboard/cpu/ram and no display, no beep from board.

i upgraded my brothers pc from a old amd phenom 965 to a ryzen 3 1200 with ASRock A320M DGS board along with a single stick of Crucial 8GB DDR4 2133 CT8G4DFS8213 . i hooked everything up no issue same as always, the pc powers on as usual but im not getting any display. the gpu is a evga 670FTW along with a evga 600w psu, all the components are tested to work except for the new board/cpu/ram but im not getting any beep from the board or anything signaling something being wrong, any ideas on how i can trouble shoot this down before christmas

With a platform switch a lot of the time it won't boot into windows because it is still trying to use the other drivers from the previous setup.

Unless you connect a speaker you won't get a beep. Many cases don't have a speaker. That board doesn't have much for debug LEDs.

gotcha, i didnt think that would stop it from being able to boot. ill give it a try

unhooked the hdd and still no luck. im pulling everything out of the case and rehooking it up on the box the board came in once my brother goes to bed, any random things to try?

update: i took the pc out of the case and set everything back up on the box the motherboard came in, jumped the power switch and still no display, i tried both ram slots, i took the cpu out and double checked, there are no bent pins or anything. im at a loss here

update: took the old cpu/motherboard and hooked it up again and i get a display, only with the new system do i not get a display
