For motherboards I second Tradesman1's suggestion for the ASUS Z97-Pro if you can afford the extra $20 . It would still fit your Haswell socket type and is a fantastic board, especially for overclocking (which I assume you want to do since you're looking at a 'K' model processor. Here's a link to the z97-pro so you can take a look:
For CPU, you basically can't get a better Haswell CPU than the i7-4790K. That should last you a good long time.
For PSU, well that would also depend on how many graphics cards you eventually want to use. If you think you're ever going to have more than 1 GPU in your rig you'll want to be looking at 750w and up. A great PCU in this category is...
Yes that combination will work. Z97 boards use the LGA 1150 socket, just like the I7-4790K. And they all have PCIex16 slots which the 750Ti goes into. Price wise you are looking at $500 for those 3 things.
Yes, that motherboard will support the i7 4790k. Both use the LGA 1150 socket type.
I can't estimate what FPS you'll have playing csgo, but I can tell you that it is a great CPU that should stand you in good stead for quite some time.
is there a better cpu that i could get, i am willing to spend a bit more if it is worth it. but only if it is worth it, thanks again. Also how much power do you think i will need?
