I have an 800 watt psu that came with the pc through cyber powerNo, you won't need a new motherboard.
The component that presents more importance when upgrading is the PSU. What PSU have you got(make and model)?
Well i heard the 3090 needs three ports rather than the 2 but wasn't sure if my motherboard had enough for the 3090. But you are saying it does??You meet the recommended specs for both 3080 and 3090 and like the person said above no need to change motherboards good luck with your new GPU if you get one of them

We need make model of the psu. 800w on its own is fairly meaningless, there is a huge difference between a low and high quality psu. Unfortunately Cyberpower often use cheap components so there is a reasonable chance it’s a poor psu.I have an 800 watt psu that came with the pc through cyber power
Well they aren't expensive so I can always get another and replace it but i was just wondering if the 3090 would fit my motherboard because apperently it is a 3 slot cardWe need make model of the psu. 800w on its own is fairly meaningless, there is a huge difference between a low and high quality psu. It still only uses 1 pcie slot. The 3 slots just means it covers 3 spaces. This might be a problem in smaller cases or if you want to use the lower slots on the motherboard.Well they aren't expensive so I can always get another and replace it but i was just wondering if the 3090 would fit my motherboard because apperently it is a 3 slot card

Still need make and model. The gold rating is for efficiency and not quality. Being gold there is a better chance it’s a good quality unit but you can’t say for certain. Also it says gold certified psu
