New motherboard in Win 10

I have Windows 8.1 pro on disc, which was upgraded to Win 10. I am installing a new motherboard and processor, can I start over with Win 8 and then upgrade to 10?

If it's Retail version of W8 you can do clean install of W10 using W8 keys. If it's OEM than you would want to install W8 first and try to activate it. In either case, hurry up, offer ends in a week.
